Chapter Fourteen

India

“Juan got some good taste, this shit kinda fly,” India said to herself walking through his hallway and admiring beautiful portraits from artists around the world. They all seemed to be set in a faraway place. Like a character was trapped in a completely different world.

After gaining access upstairs with the power of money and thanks to the skills, Brick taught her she was easily able to gain access to the condo. Cash had just dropped her off stating he would be back as soon as he could. While she continued to survey the empty home she heard keys in the door and ran upstairs.

She went for what appeared to be the master and hid in the closet. It was a large empty walk in, and all she could do was go around the corner and hide in the darkest area she could find. All she knew was there was no way she was letting this muthafucka get away from her again, and it was a chance she was going to have to take. She needed to get her baby cousin home. She held her gun close as she tried to make herself lay as flat against the corner as possible.

“Damn. That shit was live tonight. Y’all kick it just like my niggas.” She heard a male voice say.

“Yeah, Ahora es el momento para la fiesta posterior.” She heard another male voice say. India only knew a few Spanish words from chick’s she’d kicked it with in the past but was sure she heard the words after party.

She heard footsteps coming upstairs and what sounded like kissing. “Maybe they had a girl with them, and she ain’t said shit,” India thought to herself. She heard the bedroom door open and could feel their presence when they entered the bedroom and turned on the light, glad she chose the dark closet. She knew Egypt wanted it to look like an accident, but she felt like she had already wasted too much time trying to catch Juan out there.

“Damn baby, you ready to take this dick huh? You already bent over the bed for daddy,” She heard the initial voice she heard say.

“Put it in Dayshawn. Ahora!” She heard what she assumed was Juan’s voice say. India felt sick. Juan was a homo thug? She’d had enough as she slowly crept around the corner and took a peek. When she noticed only two bodies on the bed, she slowly approached with her gun drawn.

“Nobody is gonna believe this shit,” she said as Juan turned around and Dayshawn turned to face her jumping back at the sight of a gun.

“What do you want? I have money, drugs, what?” Juan asked calmly, foolishly thinking he could buy India’s good graces. India laughed putting a bullet in Dayshawn’s head while smirking at him.

“Juan you can’t pay to get out of this one. What’s crazy is, your Uncle wanted you dead for being a snitch. He’d really want you dead after this one,” India emptied three bullets into Juan’s body as it fell right next to his lovers.
